Rotor Mühle character visible por fondo zafiro. Verificar que sea el rotor branded "Mühle Glashütte", no un rotor genérico Sellita. Una Mühle con rotor genérico es: (a) servicio mal hecho con rotor reemplazado, (b) ensamble fraudulento.
Spechthals visible en el puente del volante. El cuello de carpintero debe estar presente. Sin él → no es Mühle moderna o ha sido modificada.
Tornillos azulados en posiciones canónicas (especialmente en MU 9415). Azulado al fuego (color caliente) vs azulado químico (color frío plano) — los Mühle son al fuego.

Why any "Mühle" 1945–1994 is suspect

During DDR nationalisation, the Mühle family lost control. Glashütte district production continued under GUB (Glashütter Uhrenbetrieb) with brands like Spezimatic, simple Glashütte, GUB Kaliber. The "Mühle" name does not appear in official DDR production. If someone offers you a "Mühle" dated between 1945 and 1994, it is: (a) a fraudulently relabelled pre-1945 watch, (b) a very early 1994+ piece with wrong dating, (c) outright fake. Era GUB watches are collectable as GUB, not as Mühle — a separate category with its own market and authentication.

Modern Mühle (1994 → 2026) · the live market

First-pass visual verification

"Glashütte i/SA" signature below "Mühle-Glashütte" on the dial. Any modern Mühle must have it. Without it → suspicious.
Mühle character rotor visible through sapphire caseback. Verify it''s the "Mühle Glashütte" branded rotor, not a generic Sellita rotor. A Mühle with a generic rotor is: (a) badly-done service with replaced rotor, (b) fraudulent assembly.
Spechthals visible on the balance cock. The woodpecker neck must be present. Without it → not a modern Mühle or has been modified.
Blued screws in canonical positions (especially on MU 9415). Fire-blued (warm colour) vs chemically blued (flat cold colour) — the Mühle ones are fire-blued.

Documentation to require

Original Mühle box. Wood/cardboard box with Mühle logo, manual, warranty certificate.
Purchase certificate from a Mühle authorised dealer (own boutique, authorised jeweller, official website). Without it, the secondary market applies an additional 10–15% discount.
